Specializing in rock, alternative, and metal, James has been performing professionally for over seven years. A self-taught musician raised in a small Irish town, he cut his teeth on the local scene before taking his sound to stages around the world.
Bio
After years of honing his craft, James Brown launched into a global career that now sees him sharing stages with Mark Daly & The Ravens and rock icon Geoff Tate.
Over seven years of professional touring have shaped James into a versatile guitarist blending style of rock, blues and metal effortlessly. In 2024, James had his first full length release under Mark Daly’s Album Devil Arms. This album went on to feature the vocalist Emily Armstrong (Linkin Park) on the duet “Pieces” but the standout track for James is “Brighter Days”. A song that he wrote in his bedroom many years ago.
After a successful tour promoting the album in the fall of 2024. Mark Daly & The Ravens are now preparing for a US tour commencing in August as direct Support to The Darkness.
As well as promoting his Original music, James is also heavily involved in Geoff Tates current tour “Operation Mindcrime; The Final Chapter”. After a successful spring run of a near sold out tour and a headline slot at German festival “Rock Hard Festival”, James will be rejoining Geoff once again for the fall leg of the tour, jumping in-between both Mark Daly’s and Geoff’s.
